We have two bits of big news coming out of the Mattress Next Day camp this month with both a rebrand and a more sustainable future thanks to key changes at the popular retailer.
To start, that rebrand – a more purple-blue aesthetic accompanies a new logo design that sees a smiley curvaceous logo replacing the static white and orange we had come to know and love. The rebrand aims to help separate and distinguish the retailer from others in the mattress space and is the start of a new direction that also sees them investing in the future with a new marketing/environmental campaign. This campaign sees MattressNextDay step up efforts to tackle the climate crisis by working alongside Ecologi.
MattressNextDay, in partnership with Ecologi, has committed to planting 1 million trees by 2030 and the online retailer has committed to planting 500 trees per month, as well as one tree for every order they receive.
Martin Seeley, the CEO of MattressNextDay explains “We have been looking for different ways to showcase our support to eco-green projects for some time now, and now we are delighted to be a part of the Ecologi team. The work that Ecologi has done for the past few years has been incredible, from generating clean electricity in countries like India to protecting and preserving forests all over the world, including the Amazon rainforest.”
Ecologi welcome the additional focus toward an eco future also. With Linda Adams, Head of Partnerships at Ecologi stating “We are really pleased that such an eco-conscious company like MattressNextDay has partnered with us to help them on their journey to becoming more sustainable.”
The popular mattress retailer has helped prevent landfill for a number of years with its independent recycling service that allows customers to have their existing mattress disposed of when commiting to a delivery on a new purchase. First established in 2003 the company has seen explosive growth in recent years thanks to changing buyer habits that have seen sales increase dramatically for the retailer.
