Purchased this bed frame in view of the sale (solid slats, double) and I am a pink colour lover. From the photos it looks like it's more of a shrimp/ coral shade of pink so I thought I will like it. I know there is a disclaimer that the shades of this fabric look different depending on your bedroom's lighting but still I do think the photos don't really accurately reflect what I have got in real life. The pink in real life is baby pink/ pale pink. If you are going for the darker shrimp/ rosy pink colour I think you will be slightly disappointed. The photos other buyers have taken in the review section seems to be even more accurate than the official photos at some point. However, I still feel like this kind of pale pink is what would accept and like. It gives off a more childish/ younger vibe than what I would expect - a more mature, feminine kind of pink, but all in all I am 95% satisfied with the bed's quality and colour. The velvet fabric looks expensive and is of good quality and I really like that it makes a statement furniture in the bedroom. Everyone says it looks good so I am happy with the purchase, esp. at a discounted price point. If it is in its original price I probably won't buy it. Also a minor thing about the assembly instructions: this is the first bed that I ever assembled myself and I struggled in assembling the solid slats. It would be great if the instructions are a bit clearer. In view of the good experience this time I will definitely consider coming back to Dreams for a mattress purchase!

I bought this for my daughter's bedroom and it is perfect. The polish velvet feel makes the bed feel really luxurious. The colour is exactly what I expected and so is the perfect match for her room. The head board is perfect for sitting up in bed to read to her at night...really comfy. Thinking of getting the king size for our room. Only downside is the clearance from the floor which makes any under bed storage difficult (standard storage boxes don't fit). It is still a beautiful bed. Delivery guys were good and put up the bed really quickly. There were a couple of dirt marks on the edges of the frame which I think occurred during delivery, but quickly wiped away with a wet wipe. All in all...very satisfied with the purchase. Good value.

Ordered this Bed Frame in Kingsize Pink. Looks stunning and feels very luxurious. I took a gamble and ordered this bed online without viewing it in store and it looks even better than the pictures on the website. Delivered within a week and the delivery guys were very friendly and assembled the bed with no problems. They put shoe protectors on as soon as they stepped through the front door without having to ask, which was great as I have new carpets. Highly recommend this bed 10/10. Only regret is that two days after I placed my order it was on the T.V. advertised in the Black Friday sale as 100 off. But still deserves 5 stars as Im very happy with my purchase and feel its worth every penny.

Got this beautiful bed delivered in Grey, treated myself to a King size one. The bed looked just as good as I thought, I went to see one before I brought this one in the store so I knew what to expect!! I advise everyone that is looking to get one in grey to go to the shop as the grey looks very different in person than in pictures!! But it is a lovely colour. The sprung slats feel amazing!! I cant thank Tina from the Milton Keynes store enough as well as Matt and Pete the ones that delivered it to me today!! The delivery went very quickly and smoothly. The sprung slats add a very nice touch to the bed-the bed is squeak proof which is a must!!!

Im really glad I made this purchase. The delivery was on time and as expected, the workers were able to fit my bed together in about 15 minutes and were very friendly. The bed itself is very sturdy, I previously had a metal bed with regular slabs which after a while became a little unstable and squeaky. Its refreshing to have a bed that makes no sounds and does not move around. It fits the decor of my bedroom perfectly and is just as it looks on the website...its a little lower than I thought it would be but still very comfortable to sleep on. Would highly recommend for the customer service alone but also for the quality of the product.

Very happy with the received product. We ordered online without seeing the bed in person but the pictures and video do it justice. The charcoal colour is slightly lighter than expected but this just hides the dust better, so a small bonus! I put the super-king frame together quite easily with some help from my partner. The upholstery is well finished down the creases and looks of good quality. We bought quite a deep heavy mattress separately and the bed frame holds it well and feels very sturdy under us. This is our second bed that we've bought from Dreams and we'd recommend them to our friends and family.

This bed is beautiful. It feels and looks very luxurious. Im very happy with the colour, a beautiful blush pink bed. However I purchased this along with the TheraPur Actigel plus Harmonic 2200 Mattress. Whilst I ordered a double size mattress, its too large and doesnt fit in the Knox bed frame. What Im left with is a mattress where the edges sit on the bed frame and the middle that dips down onto the slats. A definite design flaw and one I will be contacting you about because Im not going to have a 1000 mattress ruined l. This was not explained or mentioned to me in store when I purchased.

This bed is beautiful quality for the price, however it is definitely nearer dark blue than grey, certainly not a true grey at all. Dreams delivery and communication were faultless, and the bed was available in less than a week, plus the choice of delivery dates is great - Saturday delivery at no extra cost is good too. Having bought the Super King, I will be getting some additional slat supports fitted, as one single leg over a 6ft wide bed doesn't seem enough to me, especially with no central support bar either. That being said it does feel very solid. In general very impressed with Dreams.

We bought the grey superking with 'solid slats'. It's a beautiful looking bed and the delivery and build crew were superb, however from the first night I couldn't believe how bouncy the bed was - I was disturbed every time my wife moved. I knew this was the frame, not the mattress. It didn't seem right to me that a 6ft wide bed should only have ONE support in the middle (even our old king bed had 2). No wonder the slats moved. So I have cut another 5 wooden legs and screwed them into the top slats and hey presto, it's really solid and we have both slept so well since.

Overall I really like this bed. The colour is a little lighter than I was expecting but its still sumptuous! We ordered a king size bed and chose the sprung slats. However, after assembling the frame we realised that the sides were different so the screw holes for the slats didnt match up. The support legs for the slats are cheaply made and kind of rickety so every time we move in bed they make a noise. This is slightly annoying as I invested in a memory foam mattress to avoid being woken by my partner every time he moves (hes a restless sleeper!).

We brought this bed as my wife loves the pink and I do say it growing on me too, we went with sprung slats as ours was the super king size so it feels solid and no squeaking. The fabric is so soft and nice to touch with a high headboard when watching TV in bed, the only downside is the bed would be better with some kind of storage underneath where you could lift the bed to get to but still room underneath. I've got to say one of the best I've brought and only from dreams.

Bought bed around a month ago, delivery was quick, construction stright forward. We bought the grey/blue one & it fits perfectly in our grey/blue master bedroom. The sprung slats make it very comfortable and the bed frame is very sturdy, no wobbles or squeaks and very easy to fall asleep on! Good value for money. Would advise checking in a store to see if the colour fits what you want as it's difficult to see properly in any photos on a phone or computer.

Absolutely beautiful bed frame. I opted for the sprung slats and the whole thing was assembled by 2 of us within 40 minutes. It really was simple and with clear instructions included. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the grey isnt a typical grey like it looks in the pictures - it has a tint of blue/green in it depending on the light. I decided to keep it though and ended up buying the matching bedside tables too as it was so gorgeous!

Bed itself is lovely - very good quality and not too difficult to put together. However I had a bit of a confusing experience with purchasing it - was told a couple of days before it was due to be delivered that it wouldnt be coming for another month due to shipping issues. Spoke to customer service and they brought this date forward... and then it ended up arriving on the original date. A bit confusing all in all but glad to have it here now!

This bed is absolutely gorgeous. We ordered 2, one in pink and one in grey. The quality is brilliant, it's really sturdy when built, and the fabric is soft to touch. We opted for self build and it was really simple to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and I managed it by myself, despite it recommending a 2 person install. Overall, extremely pleased with the beds. They look the part and will last years!

We bought this bed a month ago and we are delighted. We live in a Victorian house and we havent got enough space to take a bed to the first floor, we have bought different beds and had to return all of them because we couldnt fit them up the staircase but this one fitted perfectly (and weve got a super king size). I ordered the bed in grey although it's more blue than grey in real life, no issues with that. I paid for delivery and disposal of previous bed frame. The guys were amazing and were in and out within 24 minutes, tidy and efficient! I have the solid slats and find it creaks at time as there is no middle support so wonder if having sprung slats would have been more solid. But overall, great looking sturdy bed

Very impressed with the bed and the service from Dreams who came and made up the bed frame in a very short space of time, and cleared up after! The bed is very luxe, a soft velvet and nicely padded headboard, and it doesn't squeak. The sides don't jut out too much from the mattress if you're short on space. We had been looking for a bed for our first home after years of renting and therefor sleeping on rubbish beds, so we knew we wanted to splurge a bit and get something beautiful. Fantastic bed that is really good looking and the easiest bed I have ever assembled. The mattress I also got with he bed is very comfortable. Looks lovely, easy to assembled. But a big but, it's cheaply made. All hollow loke ikea crap, we got the slats version, bad move, all bowing in the center after only a night, there is a center prop but that's a bit feeble. Does the job, looks good. How long it will last I don't know, I'm making a few more props for the slats to keep the mattress level.

The centre support leg has an adjustable screw at it's base, however the screw is not long enough, it just sits under the support leg without it's thread engaging in the support leg.

I love the style of this bed and I don't think the prices is unreasonable for the quality. It's not THE best quality fabric but it will definitely do nicely. The colour is more of a very dark navy than grey - it's strange I can't explain it. Still lovely though! Delivery was prompt and delivery guys were friendly.

Having not viewed the actual bed instore we asked if the staff could give us a rough idea of the grey colour. We took the risk and bought it. It does give off a greenish/blue grey colour rather than just flat grey. We still like the look. Condition/quality of the bed itself is great! Happy overall.

Lovely solid bed frame which was simple enough to build. Dropping one star because at one side the holes are slightly out of alignment which means the side panel and the end panel joins arent completely flush with each other. Its not too noticeable due to the dark grey colour.

Gotta say, this is a real sturdy bed, looks quality and my daughter loves it. It suggests 2 people assemble it but even after recent major surgery I managed alone. Delivery was also excellent. Driver contacted me an hour before and turned up on time, very polite and helpful.

Lovely bed, looks great. The grey colour is more like a navy grey/very dark green grey. We went for the fixed slats and it doesn't seem to affect the comfort. There is a tiny bit of room to store very shallow things under the bed frame. It was very tricky to put together!

Lovely bed however the slats dont fit correctly to the metal frame. I had to buy additional washers to pack the fittings out. Not a big issue but not something i expected from an expensive frame. Other than that it was very easy to fit together.

Its lovely but the grey looks more dark teal/ blue. So I think I was expecting a charcoal which is what I was after. But its a lovely colour. The headboard is nice but the pleats on corners dont fold perfectly, but its not very noticable.

What is the difference between sprung slat and solid slat, what does that mean exactly???

Answer: Sprung slats are shaped with an upward curve allowing them to act like a spring. When lying on the bed the slats bend downwards and when getting off the bed the slats return back to as they were. This provides the bed frame with a sprung like base as opposed to a solid, hard base, making the surface more comfortable and mattress friendly.

People have said that it is more blue then grey, is this just in certain lights as the colour scheme I am going for is dark grey. Does it have a blue tone to it

Answer: The colour of this bed will vary depending on your lighting and room surroundings. Although grey, there are petrol blue undertones and hence if your colour scheme is dark grey this might not be suitable.

What are the internal dimensions of the frame, where the mattress ? My current bed has too much clearance, so I can see 20cm of slats, which I am trying to avoid. A standard king size mattress is 150x200. This bed frame is 170 x225.

Answer: The internal dimensions / space where the mattress fits is designed to fit UK sized standard mattresses. So a king size would accommodate a UK sized King mattress without any gaps or spacing

Answer: If you need to clean the product we would advise to avoid using any harsh chemicals on it. We would usually advise using a cloth and warm soapy water.

Is anyone able to clarify the width of the Headboard? Our bed is currently in a very tight alcove, and whilst the foot of the bed might be 155cm (Double) the headboards can sometimes be slightly wider which means it won't fit.
