I have been sleeping on this bed (single frame, sprung slats) paired with my own memory foam mattress for a two weeks now, and I am very pleased with it. It was relatively simple to assemble with one other person holding things in place as I tightened bolts etc, and everything appears to be well made and robust. The only problem I had was when it came to attaching the sprung slat module to the frame itself. The holes didn't line up with those on the frame! Fortunately a replacement was delivered the next day and that one was correctly drilled, so it all fitted together well. I'm impressed that there is no creaking, and even though the frame feels nice and sturdy (I'm not exactly feather light!), the frame itself is cleverly constructed so it is actually quite light and easy to move when vacuuming. Lovely matt black finish which is easy to dust, looks good and feels good. Very pleased, and at the price, it was an absolute bargain.

I originally ordered 2 double iron bed frames and 6 single, but the original delivery contained 1 double and 7 single. The delivery guys were absolutely amazing and the beds were superior quality. However, as I have 2 serviced apartments I needed a double bed. Delivery guys contacted the office and rearranged and took the unwanted single bed back with them. Next delivery scheduled and even brought forward for me to enable me to get my accommodation on the market. Unfortunately thus deliver was also a single bed!! Again delivery guys amazing and sorted with head office and took unwanted bed back. Next delivery was the correct double bed. So my review is -great products, awesome delivery guys, but head office organisation leaving a lot of room for improvement and it ended up costing me a lot of money through lack if revenue because I didnt have the correct extra bed to market my apartment.

Promptly delivered and sensibly packed. Everything present and so easily checked off. All parts clearly labelled and in individual bubble pack seperators on a backing card. Easy to transfer to suitable labelled containers ( I used egg cups ) and then easy to pick up the right bits very easily, once assembly begins. Assembly was quick and easy using the enclosed guide notes. I had an assistant but could easily have assembled the bed on my own taking a bit more time. A suitable box or crate of the right height to support the side bars at the right height whilst inserting the fixing screws and washers makes things even easier. Bed has a solid feel to it and looks like something that cost a lot more. I am delighted with my purchase and would definitely check out Dreams when I next buy a bed.

I am delighted with this frame - I have two of them now and would buy more. I prefer metal frames, having been let down by soft wood frames. If you can afford hard wood frames, go for it, but I would avoid pine etc. as they don't seem durable. This is very easy to assemble basically eight bolts which hold the four metal pieces nice and tight and flush, ensuring they wont loosen and begin to rock. Some beds only have four bolts, which wont provide the same stability. The sides are cast iron and nice and heavy. The headboard and footboard are probably aluminium nicely painted. Everything is well packaged. Pine slats are easily screwed in at each corner. This is great value and the delivery service was fantastic. You will need plenty of pillows/bolsters for sitting up in bed.

I bought this bed from Dreams after having a very bad experience with Bensons for Beds in which I waited for 9 months for a bed that never came. After that experience, I didnt want to spend too much on a bed. This bed was very reasonably priced and I find it to be great value. It took a 1.5 months to arrive. The delivery men were very quick, friendly, informative and took their shoes off and used masks. The bed was reasonably easy to put together. I put it together with my mum, neither of us are diy experts, within 1.5 hours. Despite this the bed feels secure and is stylish too. The central foot underneath did get knocked and moved when I put something under the bed, so just look out for that.

Excellent Metal Bed Frame. Nice clear instructions so putting it together was far easier than your usual flat-packed products. End result is much more solid and of higher quality than my previous bed, and I'm getting a much improved night's sleep as a result of this. One very minor negative I think there should be more bars downwards on the head end - as my head will fit though the gap between them. as I have dozed off while sat up reading in bed and my head has bumped against the wall. I chose to buy from Dreams because their Web site has the best photos - some of the other I visited wouldn't show the single bed picture - only double, even when you clicked the single option.

Bought this and have had it for a week, assembly is quite easy which is a plus although you may have a slight issue when trying to tighten screws but nothing to shout about, i purchased this when on sale for about 90 which is half the price advertised now so it was great value for money, i replaced my leather bed frame for this metal one as i wanted a more sturdy bed frame and this is sturdy and doesnt make any noises when you move around, the only thing i would recommend is getting solid slates as i assumed when purchasing it that it would come with metal slats but it came with wooden ones not that they werent good quality.

I bought this bed in the sale but opted for the sprung slats which costs a little more. I love my new bed and it goes well with my modern interior. The delivery service was great! However, I have one but, and I'm surprised it hasn't come up in the reviews yet. The gaps between the headboard and footboard are so wide, I can actually fit my head through without a problem and it leaves me wondering how this is compliant with UK furniture regulations. Because the gap is so large, it's uncomfortable to sit up against, luckily I have a massive feather scatter cushion. Other than that, great stylish bed, good quality and price

Positives: I love the overall simple and elegant timeless design the frame gives my room. Although my room is a double I am pleased that this frame is not cumbersome unlike some frames with end ends. The frame is sleek in design and neat but sturdy. Negatives: The base platform really needs to be between 3inches and 5 inches higher. Itis much lower than my previous platform base and it's difficult to ge out of bed. Also needs a couple of extra slats on the base. Having to buy a sheet of hardboard in prep for my new pocket sprung mattress which requires no gaps in which the springs to poke through!

Had to get rid of my double sleighbed due to moving to a smaller property with a much smaller bedroom. Ordered the single version of this and very pleased. Looks lovely in my bedroom. Delivery was as promised and the team took away my dismantled old bed and mattress and assembled my new bed. Very nice two man team polite and professional. Only problems I had was putting old double mattress in the green bag sent to me as it was for a super king size bed, so bit of a struggle. May consider getting new sofa bed for my living room at a later stage from Dreams as the service is excellent.

I bought this for my 5 year old son who had grown out of his cot bed, I wanted a bed that would take him all the way through teenage years - it is perfect for it. A grown up feel and sturdy. I havent put the centre support underneath only because I have slid a storage drawer in however without it still takes the weight of 2 adults and a child! Very easy to assembly was able to do it myself with a little help from the little one! A great bed (in the sales). Did take about 8 weeks to arrive but that was due to a stock replenishment. Overall very happy with the bed, I recommend it to all.

After my 11 year old's bed collapsed (having been used as a trampoline) I bought this based on the recommendations on the Dreams site. The bed is just as it says on the tin! Strong but good looking. Easy to assemble, but beware there are two sets of screws which are almost, but not quite, identical. Make sure you're using the right ones in the right place and then it's a doddle. The delivery guys were brilliant. Phoning me early in the morning and turning up at the promised time, and I was their last delivery of the day! After being messed around by several other compaines i decided to have a look on Dreams and I was not disappointed. Firstly this beautiful bedframe was on sale (Winning!) and it was delivered fast and professionally with ample notice and updates. I opted to assemble myself which was fairly simple with some help as the frame is heavy (deffo a 2 man job) but would probably consider getting the assembly assistance in the future. If you are longing for a sleek industrial/retro style frame then this is for you! Super comfortable and sturdy. Couldn't be happier :)

So I had ordered this bed for my teenage son, got the confirmation emails and dates for delivery. Unfortunately the delivery date came and went with no contact from dreams. I contacted the company via web chat and the agent Amy Bryant was lively, she was understanding and very helpful. Although I couldnt get the bed delivered she arranged for a new date and also included complimentary sifts package. The bed itself was very easy to assemble and looks great. I bought this for my 9 year old son. He thinks it looks smart and is pleased he can still store books and toys in the space underneath it. I like that the middle supporting foot is right underneath the mattress. The old one he had had the supporting leg on the edge and I kept stubbing my toe on it when I changed the bedding! We bought the one with sprung slats and this has given life into the old mattress. The Dreams staff put the bed together and they made a quick, clean and good job of it.

I purchased this bed 2 weeks ago to replace an old wooden framed bed. The bed was delivered in 3 pieces and very easy to set up (with the assistance of one other person) it took around an hour. Although the individual pieces of the bed frame are light, when assembled the bed is surprisingly sturdy which is exactly what I was looking for. The head post of the bed can be well accompanied by a couple of large pillows for support and there is plenty of space under the bed for storage.

Bought this bed to replace single bed that was no longer big enough. Very good price, it was on a deal. Despite the Covid 19 lockdown the delivery was very quick. I was advised of delivery time and was woken by a cheery delivery man phoning to tell me he was on his way. Bed was placed in hall, social distancing kept in force, photo taken as a signature and then a very pleasant chat. Not only have I now got a lovely new bed but my mood was lifted by the nice delivery man. Well done.

This is a really decent bedframe. It's very easy to put together, two of us did it, but I think if you had to, you could do it alone if you had something to rest it on as you were assembling it. It's incredibly sturdy with the middle bar rests, it's comfortable and a good height. It doesn't squeak (though we've only had it a month), but as a metal frame, I assume it might at some point. It's really lovely, a simple clean design and a good price. Also the delivery team were great.

The bed is very sturdy, good quality product, bought in sale for less than half price. Excellent service also. I had a few notifications before the delivery date, an early morning call on the date, bed has been delivered on time by 2 men who even took their shoes off before entering the property. They assemble the bed and moved my old bed to different room because I asked them to ( they didn't have to do that). They were very friendly and professional. Thank you very much!

Bought 2 x Westbrook black metal bed frame (single size). Initially they were due to be delivered during the last snow storm but I was not expecting them so no dissapointment when received a text to confirm non-delivery. Good that i was able to reschedule to my convenience. Texted day before delivery & morning of delivery. Bought this a few weeks ago to use in the guest room and am so happy with it! It was in the sale and was an amazing bargain. IKEA do a very similar bed for the same (sale) price and it is far sturdier and better looking in my opinion. The order process was easy, delivery was a 'Dream.' I have been gradually replacing the beds in my rental flat with this one because my experience of it is good- it's a good, sturdy, nice looking bed that lasts and is a great price. However, having bought one for my own use recently I've discovered the head bit is really uncomfortable to lean back on, you half slip between the bars because they're too far apart for comfort so I recommend getting a big foam pillow for when you want to sit up in bed.

Bought this bed over a month ago, eas expecting some noise, but I was left very impressed, no squeaky noises when sitting on and getting off bed. The guys who put my bed together were amazing and very helpful. However i read the manual which stated not to use a drill when assembling bed, which they used, I hope this doesn't affect me when its time to disassemble the bed. So far, bed looks stylish, big and goes well with anything in my bedroom.

I bought two of these beds for my children. Overall they are sturdy and went together okay. The only fault I found with both is that there is a central support leg that sits right in the middle of the underside, meaning restrictions for anyone wanting storage space. Plus Im the instructions it says there is a pre-driller hole to show where it needs to be located. On both beds, the drill hole was not in place, meaning I had to do it myself.

The bed (single) although light weight is sturdy. Assembly was easy and all the parts seem well designed and made. The standard wooden slats are ok though fairly roughly finished. They are strong enough for normal use but I suspect if a large person jumped on the bed so their weight was focused on a single slat it would break. My one complaint is that the bed arrived without its fittings kit. Dreams immediately posted the missing item.

I bought this bed when there was a Dreams sale and I am so glad I did. It is simple, elegant, great quality and also brilliant value for money. The bed I chose the latest delivery date as possible (a month away) as was not needed straight away which was brilliant. The whole delivery process was also excellent. Lovely bed frame just a little disappointed with the packaging as damaged on receipt. Also whilst putting the frame together the finish on the frame when putting in one of the screws began flaking off. Also the pre-drilled hole for the centre support was missing. Also the feet of the bed could do with some anti-slip covers as not everyone has carpets in their bedrooms these days as the bed slips on my laminated floor at times.

The bed is both stylish and study. Its for our 6 year old son who has an older taste after growing out of the kids selections sooner than we expected. I've just moved house and was struggling to find a bed frame that was simple, affordable and still looked good. Had issue with install/build if the frame - was a bit bent. But Dreams had someone out with a replacement ASAP, and they workmen explained what had happened and why with the first frame. It is a VERY light frame, so it is easy to move about, but also means it can move during the night if you are someone who moves a bit in bed. Overall, for the price, not bad but I am more happy with the service I got from Dreams.

My teenage son previously had a faux leather sleigh bed the bed frame was large and took up a lot of room. This Westbrook bedframe is strong and is the perfect look for my sons room. After a lot of research, I finally bought a Westbrook bed frame a few weeks ago. Though it would have been easier, and quicker, to assemble the frame with a second pair of hands, it wasn't that difficult a task to do by myself. single: very sturdy bed, nice sleek finish. Athough side of frame where mattress sits on is sharp/ rough on the finish. For this reason not ideal for young children. I did think to return the bed. But I paid to have it put together and noticed when the fitters had left, seemed alot of hassle. But lucky my 10year old is the size of an adult so is very unlikely to scratch himself climbing into the bed.

This bed is exactly what I wanted - a classic design and easy to assemble. It arrived on time and was well packaged in boxes that were easy to move and handle. The instructions made sense and were easy to follow and everything was in there as described. Once assembled the bed seemed firm and secure and sturdy. I bought this a few weeks ago for my daughter as her first double bed. The delivery was very prompt and free which was wonderful! The bed itself was simple to assemble and looks great! This was a replacement for a cracked wooden frame. It came quickly and the delivery guys were really helpful. Assembly was easy enough although it is a two person job really. The instructions were easy enough to follow. As with all metal beds there is some squeaky joints but the rubber washers help to munimalise that. All I. All great value for money if a little functional looking.

Bought this for my 3 year old son as I wanted a bed which would last him for a good few years. This bed is very sturdy & will definitely do him for years! It was so easy to put together, I did it myself (with a little help from my 3 year old!) I am not into any kind of DIY but managed this with ease! My 3 year old loves his big boy bed! I bought two of these for my kids bedroom from the website. I was a bit worried about what they'd be like having not seen them in the flesh and because they were so reasonably priced. They were quick to put together, look great, are comfy and don't squeak at all. Am very pleased. Not sure the central support would hold on a smooth floor but is fine on our carpet.

I bought this for my grandson to use, he loves his big boy bed and sleeps really well in it. My only complaint was that in the instructions it states there is a hole in the middle slat for the support foot. This is not the case and we had to do this ourselves. We did not purchase a mattress from dreams, just the bed frame, but any single mattress fits just fine

I bought this bed about 2/3 weeks ago online. I have always been skeptical about metal bed frames as they can squeak and be quite flimsy. But i opened up the boxes to see nice sturdy frames and slats. It was so easy to put together- took me around an hour. Looks amazing in my room and it doesnt squeak as i feared! My boy is really pleased with his new bed. The higher headboard makes it more stylish. The metal frame is sturdy enough to accommodate an active 11 year old. Had a problem with the middle supporting leg, rang customer services and they organised a replacement with wooden slats straight away. I cannot fault Dreams, their customer service is excellent.

Was moving into my first house and bought this in the sale. Delivery was prompt on moving day and the drivers were very kind to wait for me while I picked up the keys. They also took all the parts up to the bedroom for me. My friend and I put the bed together in about half an hour. So far very sturdy and the simple frame looks great with any decor.

So far so good. Solid bed, no noticeable creaking or squeaking, and was straightforward to assemble. The only slight complication was putting the centre support under the frame. Also slightly disappointed that the clearance under the bed frame was a little less than hoped for, but then the description did state a +/- 2cm tolerance. Prompt delivery.

The frame is fairly easy to assemble, although does require two people. Instructions are easy to follow with the pieces required clearly marked on the pack. Frame pieces are not that heavy to carry, it is a great affordable but simple bed. Only minor blip slightly error in the instructions, hinge other side of the slat, other than that no problems.

I already had this bed in single for my daughters so decided to purchase the double for myself. Assembled by myself with ease though bottom screws are a bit fiddly to get in. Nice sturdy bed. Straight forward to assemble, if you use instructions. However missing pre-drilled hole in bed slats making simple task more tedious (having to then measure and mark). The screw then snapped but blame myself for using electric drill in my haste to complete it. Had to loose a star for missing pre drilled hole otherwise a really nice bed.

I am so pleased with the his bed, not only was it an excellent price. It's easy to assemble, solid, well made and just looks amazing. I sent back another bed from a different store which was a similar price as it was cheaply made. This bed however looks and feels like one much more expensive. Sturdy bedframe bought for occasional use when our Granddaughter comes to stay. Looks good, modern and stylish. Not used yet but seems very sturdy. I bought two of these for the kids. Looks very smart and generally well made with one exception. The locating holes for the sprung slats do not line up with the corresponding holes in the bed frame by approx 150 mm. A design flaw. This is on both beds so not a manufacturing flaw or incorrect assembly.

I bought this for my elderly mother. It has rounded edges so she won't hurt herself. She can hold on to the head and foot rails. There is ample space for storage underneath and it isn't too high so she can get in and out of bed by herself. All this and it looks good, too!
