My first proper bed base purchase! I couldn't resist as I love the leopard print- only went for the base as I had a headboard that I thought would work nicely for my style! There's plenty space in the ottoman and the guys delivering and assembling the bed were lovely. The only thing I would mention is it is very high, it feels like I'm in a hotel bed, which isn't a bad thing just will take a while to get used to. The quality is great, as well as the print and the fabric. Money well spent!

Very disappointed with this purchase. In the showroom the product looked sturdy and good quality but unfortunately not happy with the quality given the price tag. I paid for assembly. While the guys were very friendly and accommodating with the delivery the actual assembly was not right. I got the base with the headboard. 1. The base. Look wise its gorgeous however not safe at all. I chose the ottoman option and unless the matress is on top it will.not close. When they assembled it yesterday i asked why it wasn't closing i waa told because it's new and the suspension will be ok after the mattress goes on top. I believed it, but when i tried today without the matress it would not close at all. In addition the headboard is not straight with the base. Also the base is uneven between where you open the up the bed to accesa the storage. 2. The headboard. It is beautiful however it is not sturdy and safe. Despite being attached to the base if you lean against it it moves..a lot. Very wobbly!! I jave two kids and this would not do kids or not actually. Very disappointed with this product and I am looking at options for a return. Overall for the price the quality and amount of issues on the first day I wpuld not recommend. We had an ottoman frame from dreams bedore which was amazing and for less than a third of this price but had to give it up for a bigger size bed! I hope this will be resolved asap as I am not feeling safe with this frame.

We recently downsized our house and opted for the TheraPur Ottoman Divan Base to use for storage. Having always had a divan with drawers, we were amazed at the amount of storage space in the ottoman, not only do we have the bedding in there, but there's loads of extra room which we use for towels and other items. The divan is really well made and the lifting and closing of the base is very easy...and the mattress stays in place which I was amazed at! I am now wondering how I ever managed with a drawer divan for all those years. Absolutely delighted, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an ottoman divan.

Shopping for a bed (something I hadn't done in over 20 years) was made incredibly easy, by all the helpful staff in the shop. All my questions were answered in an understandable manner, making the whole shopping experience very enjoyable. Rob, the manager, was very understanding when I had to delay delivery of the bed, again, making life much easier for me. Amazing bed, love the grey fabric, lots of space underneath to fit all of my hubby's clothes and my shoes. Dreams were fantastic when the fitters noted on the first base that the staples had not gone into the wood underneath the material properly, potentially causing it to rip at a later date. They called customer service & arranged for a replacement base to be delivered. The second base came, was replaced easily, no fuss, no questions, couldn't have asked for better service.

I browsed in the Broadstairs store for a new base & mattress on a budget. Kai was quick to offer help and recommended a mattress he had himself. After trying several in store I was happy to take his recommendation and it's perfect! I was also looking for a particular style of bed base (one my kitten cannot destroy easily!) and I am very pleased he also helped me find a suitable one that also has storage space inside. The Diva base is very spacious for storage and easy to operate. It come apart easily for moving the bed and the feet unscrew in case the bed is too high which is was for us with the mattress we chose. All in all a good quality build. The only thing to watch out for is that when the mattress is removed the base will rise up regardless and is not so easy to put the mattress back onto. Not the sort of thing that will happen frequently but worth noting.

Bed base is good once assembled. Lots of storage, reasonably constructed, we are anticipating using it for a long time. Looking at it in the showroom, assembly seemed straightforward enough, but it turned out to be more of a challenge than anticipated. We didn't find the instructions straight away, and feet were inside the bases, so we had to open them up, then re-strap the lids to assemble. Not easy with 2; I would not have managed it on my own.

Exactly as we saw it in the shop. I feel there needs to be more guidance as to which divan can be sold with which bed-head as we were very confused by the end of it. The item is strong and sturdy enough and holds plenty of storage. Sadly arrived with a small tear at the back of the bed-head but it doesn't show or detract from the item. Dream very kindly gave us a monetary return when escalated as a concern. All in all, very pleased.

We needed a firm base with storage, but with easy access to keep dust-free underneath, my wife has asthma and is very sensitive to dust. This base filled all our needs, the ottoman-style lift-up storage is practical, has lots of space for spare quilts, pillows, etc., and there's enough space underneath the bed to pass the vacuum cleaner. The whole bed, base+mattress, is quite tall but that's not a problem for us.

Really very happy with this ottoman base. Seems solid and well constructed, and I'm particularly happy that it has a solid base instead of the commonly used hessian bottom. Super easy to lift and put down and lots of space for storage. Just what I wanted. The legs do raise it quite high off the floor so i would advise choosing a shallower mattress than I did, as i do feel a bit like the Princess and the Pea!

I have been very pleased with the Therapur Shallow Ottoman in superking size. The sections in which the bed was delivered were just small enough to go up a narrow, awkward staircase up to the second floor. The ottoman gives plenty of storage and is quite easy to open. It has provided a good base to the mattress, the fabric is nice to the touch and I like the dark green pine colour.

Nice fabric finished nicely, come mainly together. Found the internal nut fixing was inside the top part of the ottoman, had to make a hole and use a magnet to get it out, then had to use the bolt which went in well tight all the way, to fix the two ottoman tops together. Disappointed with this as it was expensive. Feels sturdy seems well made.

A well made product that is so easy to use, plenty of storage space in a bed that would otherwise be wasted. Great mechanism that lifts a large super king mattress with ease. And as a bonus, our robot vacuum cleaner can get underneath and keep it clean underneath, so no more dust! An excellent choice.

Bed's fine. Perhaps you shouldn't pack the legs inside it, tape it closed then warn of dire consequences if untaped and opened without a mattress on top when assembling..?!

Originally when delivered only 4 legs so setup could not be completed. Delivery guy came back in his own time two days later when the rest of the legs had been delivered.

Exact size of boxes that come with superking ottoman. The website is not changing the packaging size when I have selected superking
Answer: The divan is not delivered in boxes, it is delivered wrapped in plastic, with the base split into two sections. For the super king each section is 100cm x 90cm x 30cm.

Does the single ottoman come in one or two parts? What are the dimensions? The website suggests that the single comes in two parts. Can you confirm the dimensions on the website for 2 packages are correct (because those dimensions don't seem to add up)?
Answer: This was unfortunately an error and it now been corrected. The correct dimensions and package are:Package 1:Weight:28 kgMeasures:35 x 95 x 195cm.

Can this be assembled to hinge on either side or does it only open on the side shown in the photos?
Answer: This can be positioned at one side however the divan can be rotated so the hinge lifts in your preferred direction.

Answer: You would just need to rotate the divan head to toe to which preference you have on the opening of the ottoman.

It says it takes a mattress up to 65kg. Does it include a bracing mechanism to stop a heavy mattress slipping off when the otoman is open? My mattress is estimated to weigh 58-60kg. Many thanks.
Answer: The mattress has a non slip fabric on the ottoman to stop mattresses from sliding off.
