This bed was bought to replace a 10 year old slatted bed frame. We'd bought a new mattress so thought we might as well go the whole hog and replace the bed too. Glad we did. The bed is sturdy and the extra height over our previous frame is also a treat. The hydraulic arms for the ottoman are also very smooth and sturdy. Furthermore, I must mention the material and colour we chose: Midnight Opulence. Opulent is definitely the correct word. It's a really nice, deep shade of blue and the material is soft and high quality, with an almost velvet-like finish to it. In all I have no complaints. After 10 years of sleeping on a slatted base, I am taken aback by how much nicer it is to sleep on a solid base. It's now a joy to get into bed every night!

Hi Over all the Bed is fine and comfortable. the issue is with the odor coming from the storage area. It is so intense that it gets into other soft fabrics as well., meaning we cant store anything in the storage area....! We tried thorough vacuuming and fabric fresheners, but the smell just doesn't go !!! Can you please send you rep to investigate our problem and offer us a solution asap..
