Slumberland vs Sleepsoul Mattresses

Before purchasing this Benson's mattress (bensonsforbeds.co.uk), I discovered that the firmness of a mattress should be determined by a person's weight and sleeping position. There are many guides on the internet about this, such as sleepfoundation/best-mattress/mattress-firmness I am approx. 168 lbs in weight and a side sleeper, so I was very confident a good quality mattress which was medium firmness would be the best firmness for me. I am not disappointed with the Slumberland Natural Solutions 2000 medium firmness mattress. It is very comfortable although it feels much harder than my old mattress which was 17 years old and completely worn out. I chose the Natural Solutions 2000 mattress as it has natural fillings which are more breathable than foam layer mattresses. These natural fillings allow body heat to dissipate more efficiently than foam layered mattresses. This was very important to me as I live in a very well insulated building in a 1st floor flat, which also receives a lot of direct sunlight through the windows throughout the day and I tend to be a slightly 'hot' sleeper. I have not felt too warm in bed during August 2023 with my new Naturals mattress. The Slumberland Natural Solutions 2000 is also very good value for money when compared with other similar mattresses on the internet. The outer material feels high quality and so do the pocket springs when lying on them. It has 2000 pocket springs which helps isolate any movement a sleeping partner might make which helps to aid a good night's sleep, especially if someone sleeps with a 'restless' sleeper. This matress is so ridiculously comfortable. We chose firm and it's perfect, it's good for my partner's back and soft enough for me to feel completely cozy. When we roll over in the night its not felt by the other person at all. Having a Superking has given us the best nights sleep, neither of us disturb the other at all during the night. It's very deep so any bed with it would be fine - but I got a Duvan without thinking about it and I do feel like the princess and the pea, being about 4 foot high up! I got some great advice in the store, Inverness staff were very patient and knowledgeable. I think this is the best choice I could have made and I absolutely feel it has been worth the money - I got it for 999 and although it felt like a crazy amount at the time, the quality of sleep we've enjoyed has made it so so worth it. I also bought the matress protection which came with 2 matress protectors which I would recommend, it gives me piece of mind for the expensive purchase and also meant I didn't need to spend even more on a protector.

I recently purchased the Slumberland Air 6.4 Memory Mattress, and let me tell you, it's so comfortable that getting out of bed has become a real challenge-so much so that I've been late for work a few times! I know it sounds like a joke, but the struggle is real when your mattress feels this good. I suffer from spondylosis, and my old mattress used to leave me waking up stiff and sore. Since switching to the Slumberland Air 6.4, my mornings have completely changed. I now wake up feeling refreshed and pain-free, which is something I never thought I'd say. The memory foam contours perfectly to my body, offering just the right amount of support while still being incredibly soft. This is, without a doubt, the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. If you're looking for a mattress that provides amazing comfort and relief from aches and pains, this is it. Just be warned-you might find yourself hitting the snooze button a little more often!

very comfy mattress, super supportive - we got firm, the chemical smell was quite overwhelming, apparently it is best to air the mattress for a few days before using but in reality they take away your old one, you need to sleep on it that night, so for one week I stripped bed every morning opened all windows and aired it, then google suggested sprinkling with bicarb of soda and then hoover off as it absorbs the smell, seems to be ok now but never had that before. My only other little niggles were there was a black skid mark on mattress when still inside the polythene bag?I used a magic eraser to remove it, and the delivery lads only wanted to do absolute minimum dump and run, they took old one away left new one still in bag leaning against bedroom wall. I asked if they can please put it on the bed especially as I am disabled and there was no way I could lift a super king size mattress onto the bed, which he then did after being asked.

It's lovely, I didn't realise how much the old one had deteriorated! A bit firmer than in the shop but the nice chap did make that clear before I bought it. It's settled down a bit now and my back has been so much better after just 2 weeks on it. It's cooler than the memory foam one which is what I wanted anyway. It doesn't move much with both sides being used at the same time. It's pretty deep so take note of that as it's quite high off the floor on a divan base, but I was used to a lower wooden frame anyway. You might need some deeper fitted sheets to cover it completely although it's a lovely looking mattress in it's own right. I'd say that the medium one would be a good fit for most folk, but this form one is perfect for me with just mild back pain during the day, but gone in the morning. Don't hesitate, it's worth every penny! After sales messages very informative too, delivery spot on and really nice couple of blokes.

This is a really comfortable, good quality mattress. When it arrived (in an amazingly small box), the mattress was well wrapped up in plastic and there was a little tool to slice the plastic open without slicing the mattress, plus instructions for the mattress. It was simple and straightforward and the mattress was ready to sleep on in just an hour or so. There was no obvious chemical smell, just a slight whiff if I put my nose right on it as soon as it came out of the wrapping. I haven't been bothered by any smell when sleeping on it. I bought it as an urgent need because the old one was giving me back pain. After two nights on this mattress, the pain was gone and i've had a couple of weeks of very comfortable nights with much better sleep so far. The only thing i'm not so pleased with is the edges squish down when you sit on them. I guess they have to in order to fit inside the small box but I prefer the edge of a mattress to keep its shape when I sit on it. It's not a major problem as I sleep alone but if I shared it and had to sleep near the edge, i'd feel as if I was going to roll out of bed. I'd want a king size if I was to share it. I will also get a mattress topper just to increase the comfort factor even more (and to fulfil the conditions of the guarantee). Overall, I am very happy with this mattress, it's great to feel comfortable and well supported. With the discount, it's amazing quality for the price. So glad I bought it; my back thanks me every morning.

Easy to manoeuvre on delivery being vacuum packed and boxed. Ordered two mattresses for children moving from cot beds to single beds. Had them out of the packaging for about 6/7 hours before first use which seemed ample. Both kids slept well and said they were comfortable to sleep on. We lay on them after unpacking and they were very comfortable and stable. They feel like they offer the support from the traditional pocket sprung aspect but have the extra comfort with the thin memory foam top without being too thick to get that sinking feeling when youre on thicker foam. Based on experience so far would definitely recommend them for the price. We were hesitant as wanted good mattresses for our children so were originally thinking of going for one of the more major brands. So glad we didnt though, we went based on the amount of such good reviews and these have offered such good value

Based on the product description and reviews I was expecting a softer mattress than I got. It does have a softness as you sit or initially lie on the mattress, but it soon gives way to a more solid firmer feel, which while supportive isn't quite the sleep on clouds feeling I was expecting. It is a supportive and comfortable mattress and excellent value for money. I don't feel the springs under me as I sleep though you can feel them along the side edging, this mattress does not have reinforced edge foam along it, which I wasn't expecting anyway. When you're laying down the feeling is more medium to medium firm to my 12 stone body anyway. I've decided to keep it and I would recommend it overall. For the price paid I think you can do alot worse. Time will tell how it holds up.

I bought 2 of these for a 16 year old and a 19 year old and they love them, I normally only buy silent night but the reviews were great so I risked it. I thought there cheap enough to try, well the risk paid off. You won't find better for that price range. Infact you can probably spend double on a silent night and it will still be inferior. I've just ordered a third for my 5 year old his mattress doesn't really need changing but for that price I thought i'd upgrade the little one as well. I hope that sleepsoul keep doing a great job and making top quality affordable mattresses because they're great and i'll be picking a king size up for the wife and myself when ours needs replacing.

Absolutely brilliant mattress. I was really worried about not being able to test it due to ordering it online rather than in a store but was reassured by the trial period offered. I've struggled with neck and back problems for years since my memory foam developed a large dip and this mattress has fixed all of that. It manages to be firm enough to provide support but soft enough to feel cosy. It's the best one I've ever bought and highly recommended it to other super fussy people like myself!!! It is VERY HEAVY so you'll need help turning it at the 6month rotation mark, then again I weigh 120lb and managed to unroll it upside down (!!!) so you might be ok!
