I absolutely love this Tempur Smartcool mattress. I have slept on a traditional Tempur mattresses before and loved them but unfortunately my husband gets too hot and doesn't find them firm enough. I, on the other hand, am a cold person so find them cosy if perhaps a little softer than I'm used to. This mattress has been the perfect compromise. The medium firm rating is perfect and we find that it does regulate both our temperatures really well - much better than cheaper gel layer mattresses have done for us in the past. Whilst it is a very expensive mattress I think it is worth the extra cost. The only downside is that if you really struggle with the cold and routinely use an electric blanket or hot water bottle note that Tempur does not recommend using heated products with it. I find that my cold feet warm up more quickly when lying on the mattress due to its temperature regulating properties so don't need my heated blanket, thereby saving a little electricity. It is also great for my joint aches as it does relieve the pressure on my hip when side sleeping despite being on the slightly firmer side.

This was the best mattress purchase that we've ever made! My husband and I have various age related aches and pains in different joints and trying to find a mattress that suits both of our needs has proved to be very problematic in the past. We therefore investigated The Tempur brand and I wish I looked into these mattresses years ago! They relieve all the pressure points but still remain supportive in all the other areas of your body. I'm a side sleeper. My husband is a back sleeper and this mattress suits us both so perfectly. It's a different technology in a different field so it will feel very different initially to your normal mattress especially if you have had a combination of springs and memory foam which is what we had before but after the first initial few nights you soon realise that you've woken up every morning without an ache. And team Benson's were amazing from the lovely sales assistant in the shop to the guys who delivered it, nothing was too much trouble.

Never had a matress as expensive as this one totally silly money BUT worth every single penny I honestly struggle to find words for how good this matress is, the quality is excellent, it is comfortable beyond words almost like sleeping on a cloud, helps with aches and pains it is cooling in the heat warm in the cold I seriously recommend this matress if you have the money DO IT ! I have never slept so well in my entire life I have absolutely no cons no complaints at all it really is something else, I don't snore as much I am less restless it comes with a 10 year guarantee you don't need to turn it it is quite simply awesome .

I really like this mattress, it's comfortable and no more waking up with aches and pains. For a soft mattress it's quite firm for me. My partner however is not getting on with it and finds it difficult to move in and as a result is waking up with stiff back. It's only been a couple weeks so hopefully over time he will adapt better to this mattress. The cooling element of the mattress isn't as cool as I hoped it would be but is definitely an improvement on from my old mattress.. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase this mattress to try in store.

A very comfortable mattress to sleep on, but getting the softness right is paramount. We tried all the versions instore at Bensons for Beds and settled on the one we bought and it is just right. We were worried that foam mattresses get too hot, but ours doesn't, the mattress protector (same brand) also helps. Another plus is, it's not as heavy as our last mattress (sprung with foam topper) so it's a lot easier to fit the bottom sheet in place, but would have been perfect with a couple of handles on each side to assist.

Was a little skeptic about the mattress especially if it was worth the price. However I can honestly say it's not just lived up to the expectations but exceeded them substantially. Since we have had the mattress both myself and my wife have noticed a reduction in the normal aches and pains that we had learned to accept in the morning. Will it help you get to sleep not really, however when you do it's a more restful and comfortable experience. So yes it's a very good investment and well worth the expense.

The new dawn of beautiful sleeping has begun. We are so happy and glad that we have bought Tempur Plus Smartcool Mattress. Previous my partner used to be woken up every time I go to the toilet in the middle of sleep because the poor mattress we used to have would move and wake him up. Now we both soundless sleep and it feels cool and rarely gets up in the night No more tossing and turning . The new mattress just moulds our bodies. We would recommend this product to anyone.

Our Tempur memory foam mattress took a couple of weeks to get used to as it is firmer than it felt in the shop (we chose medium/firm). However, we were reassured by the information on the Tempur website, which explained that it would take a week or so for the mattress to relax and soften. We are now having a great night' sleep on a comfortable, supportive mattress. And best of all - absolutely zero transfer of movement when either of us wriggle around!

We made the mistake on laying on this mattress when in store, despite knowing we didn't intend on spending Tempur prices. After laying on this nothing else was going to be good enough so we purchased it. It already is well worth the money. Has taken some getting used to after being used to sprung mattresses, its not as easy to roll over as such but it is so incredibly supportive and really cuddles you, definitely would not change it now,

Best nights sleep I have had for years, since our last Tempur mattress in fact. My sleep for a long time prior to this mattress was pretty terrible, to the point I had stopped dreaming in my sleep, sounds weird but since we got this mattress I sleep so well and deeply that I have obviously entered that zone where I dream again, every night is a new adventure now :D Sincerely hope the long term outlook for this mattress is as good !

Great mattress was more firm than our old one but that was a year older , this one is softening up and i am having great nights sleep on it . I would never buy any other mattress , and all of my family now have one , no bad backs ,no stiff necks just a full nights sleep wish id got one 40 years ago . I know they are costly but you get what you pay for and you only have to buy once to get the perfect mattress

No sales push from shop assistant Nadz. went through all aspects of purchasing the bed frame, mattress and pillows Being shown how the sleep zone system works We financed the purchase by cash, Nadz explained of the finance arrangements and declined. Great shop experience in livingston we went through process of delivery and assembly and experienced everything as planned, Would go again to Bensons.

Firstly I would like to say we received fantastic customer services from the start!! The delivery was painless and fast. The mattress at first was hard and we thought we had received the wrong product however after a few days the mattress started to become softer and softer. Every night we jump into bed we say how good the mattress is. If you are on the fence, don't be it's fantastic!!

After suffering years of painful hips, night sweats, broken sleep and a bad back, I can finally sleep through the night! It doesn't sound like someone is twisting a sheet of bubble wrap when I shuffle down the stairs in the morning now either! Had a previous memory foam mattress but this is far superior. You instantly feel the benefit of the cooling layer, perfect body temperature - not too cold. The firm mattress is hard to the touch but moulds to your body as soon as you sit or lay on it. This has made a significant difference to the quality of my sleep - love it!! I no longer wake up with aches and pains.

This is the first mattress replacement since we bought the bed 20 years ago. Why did we wait so long? It has been a revelation for 8 of our 24 hour day ! The pillows have already improved the movement of my neck joints. I am now looking at replacing the other mattresses which are in our Holiday Let's . We needed a mattress that could accommodate a side sleeper and back sleeper, was not as heavy as our previous mattress (so easier to put a fitted sheet on), and regulated temperature better (to combat perimenopausal night sweats). This mattress absolutely meets our requirements and we have both been sleeping very soundly on it since we purchased it last month.

I have been diagnosed with spondyllo arthritis which causes me pain in all my joints especially my lower back, knees, hips and wrists. My Tempur Pro Plus Smartcool mattress has changed my life. Cant recommend this mattress enough. Previously i suffered in pain on previous mattress but this is so comfortable and having good nights sleep now and don't seem to wake as much. Mattress is expensive but its something u will get use out of so worth paying that bit extra for the comfort. We did however get a great discount on it with bensons.

We chose the firm one. It is lovely and comfortable. Takes a bit of getting used since it definitely feels different to lie on, but can't fault the comfort. Had it a few weeks only so can't vouch for the longevity. I would recommend it but I don't think everyone would like the feel so strongly advise a thorough try in store first.

Had Tempur Cloud for 12 years. Despite not being sure of the new Cool version, it has been absolutely fabulous. It regulates your temperature to a perfect sleeping temperature, neither too hot nor too cool, just absolutely perfect. It means you sleep much better, it is much more comfortable in every sense of the word.

This mattress is absolutely fantastic! Having a manual job means I sometimes suffer with sore shoulder and a bad back but I've had this mattress for over a month now and haven't suffered with any more pain! I love the way it moulds to your body, like a hug to your spine. It's pricey but 100% worth it! Super comfy!

I have only had my mattress for less than a month so am still getting use to it. It said firm on the label and it certainly is. I hope it will improve my posture. The only downside is that I did not factor in that electric blanket use is not advisable as it 'interferes' with the Tempur technology.

Bought a month ago. Really comfy and the cooling is great. Not had back or shoulder pain since changing to this mattress. Would recommend if you've tried other foam mattresses and not got on with them like us. Was good that it came with two pillows for free too which also have cooling technology.

This mattress lives up to its description. When we first received it I thought we had ordered the wrong one. We opted for medium/firm. However, right from the first night we have slept brilliantly. We also had the pillows but we opted for medium in them. The best decision we have made!!

Amazing! I have sciatic pain and my wife lower back pain. Since buying this mattress we've noticed that we no longer wake up aching! In fact, I don't think I've ever slept so soundly. This mattress is a perfect pairing with Benson for Beds sleepwave adjustable storage bed.

The medium firmness is just right for us. As advised at the time of purchase the mattress is firm to start with but after a couple of weeks the foam pockets start to break down and now we are getting fantastic support from the mattress resulting in improved sleep.

The tempur mattress is up there with one of my best purchases and came with two free tempur pro smart cool pillows. So comfortable you sink in but feel so supported it's lovely. I'm getting some of the best sleeps ive ever had. Highly recommend this mattress.

The mattress is very comfortable and supportive. Easy to lift to change the bedding. The smartcool mattress works very well for me and I hardly have any disturbed sleep. I am not so sure about the tempur pillow as I have had neck discomfort since using it.

The mattress took a little while to get used to but now I'm used to it I'm finding it very comfortable. I added a soft mattress topper to it and it is perfect for me now. Great for sleeping on and also when just sitting on the bed reading.

Very comfortable although it takes a bit of getting used to the feel of it. Having said that, once you've settled into a good position you can't feel any pressure points which gives you a very relaxing sleep. Would recommend it.
