Nestling into the Sleepeezee Memory Comfort 1000 Mattress was an enticing experience, especially for a back sleeper like myself. At first glance, its lush design and inviting pillow top gave an air of comfort and luxury that I was looking forward to. The comfort layer of memory foam enveloped me, conforming nicely to my contours, which is a boon considering my weight falls within the 'average' category. The build quality was superb and the firmness level, aligning more towards a medium-firm, appeared to strike the fine balance required by a back sleeper like me.
However, I must confess, the combination of pocket springs and memory foam did prove a little challenging for my back. While the pocket springs should, theoretically, cater to my sleeping position and weight, it fell just shy when it came to providing the support I required. While the memory foam responded well to my body and the temperature regulatory feature was a godsend, especially since I have a tendency to warm up during the night, the overall firmness was somewhat stronger than expected. What did impress me greatly was the lack of motion transfer, aiding in a more uninterrupted sleep. In summary, this mattress might suit those who lean towards a firmer base, perhaps combination sleepers, but it seemed slightly mismatched for me as a back sleeper. Nonetheless, the luxe fabric together with the cool night's sleep speaks volumes about the high-quality this mattress offers.
