I've struggled with my sleep for years. I've had memory foam mattresses, I've tried multiple different toppers but always awoke in the night either with back pain or to feel myself sliding off the edge. Out last mattress was an improvement but after having out first child and being condemned to sleeping on the lip of the bed I decided enough was enough. We were getting a Super King bed and getting an actual good mattress! We went to Bensons and tried out a myriad of options. Naturally I was drawn to the most expensive option but I couldn't justify spending close to 5000 on a new bed. We tried the Sealy Newton Posturepedic Mattress and after laying on it for about 10 minutes I knew I'd found the one. It was extra firm and supported me in every position. It was love! We bought it from an Outlet store in Doncaster and got an unbelievable deal on it and even managed to get it delivered the next day. Getting it upstairs was a struggle and as it was being bent I was a bit apprehensive that it wouldn't bounce back. My nerves were settled as soon as it was on the bed frame. No issues what so ever. I was expecting a few nights to get adjusted to it but that evening something magical happened. I slept like a baby! No issues; no waking up with an aching back, no feeling like falling due to the reinforced edges, no waking up feeling fatigued still. We've had the bed for a fortnight now and I don't think I've slept so well in a long time. My Samsung watch is also saying my sleep is on the "excellent" rating. I'm massively impressed in this mattress, I'm enjoying having some actual space in bed due to upgrading to Super King size. If you're in the market for an extra firm mattress that holds you and supports you I highly recommend this one. We also adopted the having separate duvet covers that the Scandinavians do and this has also helped.

The mattress is exactly what I asked for in terms of back support, comfort, easy to manoevre and to change mattres protectors and fitted sheets on. I have a long standing back injury which flares if I do not have the support. This mattress has resolved my back pain. My sleeping is great. In the summer you do not over heat and in the winter you remain warm( as described when shown to me originally). The weight of the mattress is surprisingly light to allow rotation of the mattress on a monthly basis( unlike my prevoius posturepedic mattress which was very very heavy, which was difficult to move). I would strongly recomend this mattress. I opted for firm to give my back maximum supprt and its brilliant ! I would highly recomend Bensons Beds as u can have expertise advice on tailor made beds/ mattress to meet your needs. The cost of my king size mattress was cheaper than other competitors .

I was nervous about investing in this mattress as it wasn't pocket sprung. But I'm delighted with my choice. I'm not a fan of foam mattresses as I don't like the marshmallow sinking feeling (even the firm ones). But this mattress is great. Perfect firmness. You can tell it's good for your back but is still comfortable. It is cool to sleep on which is critical for hot summers. The best thing is for those who sit on the side of the bed to put on shoes etc. The sides don't dip down deeply so there's no sliding off. Very happy with the mattress and Benson's service.

Really pleased with this mattress. My wife & I both have had problems with our lower backs. This mattress has given the support we need & we have slept much better since it arrived. All down to a sales team that listened to our needs. Unlike Furniture Village who sold us a very expensive bed & mattress two years ago which we have now had to replace. My daughter has just bought a new bed for my grandson & will also be buying another bed with you soon. The main thing that drew me to this mattress was how it felt to sit on in the store - I tried lying on it too, but didn't really spend long enough to judge properly. I also liked that it had a very flat pattern on the top. It is a firm mattress - I knew I wanted at least medium-firm, but still had a few concerns in case it was too solid. However, having had it for a couple of weeks now, I think it is great and I'm finding it really comfortable. I sleep on my back and sides and no issues. Would definitely recommend if you want something firm.

Had backache for so long and decided we to take the plunge and go mattress shopping. We wanted something firm and stable especially at the edge. We tried lots of firm and orthopaedic ones and kept coming back to these Sealey which seem to have an almost solid side. Ordering and delivery was a breeze. New mattresses normally give me more backache while i get used to them but for both of us this was amazing from the start as was free from backache the next morning. Loving it. We bought this Posturepedic mattress from Bensons as my wife has had a lot of back surgery and was not sleeping well on our previous mattress. Since the purchase she is sleeping a lot better and when getting out of bed the firm sides means she can sit comfortably while standing up, our previous mattress was very soft on the sides and she had on occasions just slid off onto the floor which exacerbated her back problems. Would highly recommend this product and Bensons as they really offer great advice and service.

Absolutely love our mattress very comfortable and we are sleeping so well, just one small issue, we are getting an odour off it that confused us so we rang the bed shop and we were treated so well the gentleman put us through to customer service who then got a technician to come out, he was great and explained why this was happening and it has got better as time has gone by, just thing it would have been better if we had been for warned so we knew what to expect.

Fantastic mattress that has replaced our horrendous Simba mattress. We only had the Simba mattress for less than three years, but it completely caved in and we woke up in pain every day. We are very happy that we chose this mattress. It is what we were looking for and it is very supportive and meets up to it's description of being posturepedic. We feel we have what we have paid for with it being a pricier mattress. It does require turning every 2 weeks, an advisory measure for the first year then once a month thereafter, to help with settlement from body pressures.

It's a lovely bed . The edges of the mattress are quite rigid which is a good thing if you are sitting on the edge to dress etc. my partner finds the mattress lovely but it's a teeny bit too firm for my hips but hoping it will give a little in time. Bensons for Beds kept in contact the whole time and the service was 10 out of 10 - I would certainly recommend them.

It's a lovely firm mattress and I'm sleeping deeper, longer and more comfortably. My husband is also sleeping well. It was easy for the 2 of us to turn around twice monthly as advised. The only thing to point out is that it's deeper than our old mattress, so our fitted sheets are only just fitting over the corners and new ones will be bought shortly.

Very comfortable and supportive. My husband's back pain has eased after sleeping on this mattress. It is lighterweight than our previous mattresses and has a tendency to slide on the base. Also, we've noticed when each other turns over in the night, the movement is notably felt on the other side as if experiencing a tremor!

Our order was for a King not Super King. It's OK, very hard, a lot harder than the demo bed, even after 3 weeks. Plus when you turn over the whole mattress moves so disturbs your partner. (Our previous one didn't do this) Wouldn't buy it again and think it is very overpriced.
