After having a number of back problems people advised I invest in a new mattress. I found it quite tricky to pick something that would suit me, and its hard to know what number of springs is good etc! I wanted something at a budget also and honestly I thought the big companies such as Dreams would be too pricey. But after being concerned about purchasing a mattress that would be the wrong size/too hard/soft/poor quality, I had a look at dreams and there was a sale on single mattresses. The website is transparent, described the mattress and who it would suit. Then near the checkout it offers to take your old mattress too! That was another bit of stress removed. So the a green covering arrived before the delivery was due - easy peasy. The delivery men arrived in full PPE and shoe coverings (very good service as Id just had a new carpet in the room done too) and we said they could just leave it in the room and they said no no, we will place it for you then saves you having to dispose of the packing too. Its one of those jobs that you put off because you think itll be a pain and theres logistics to sort out - but dreams made it feel like Id just purchased a cushion off line! Quick, effective, friendly - job done like that! Oh and the mattress is brill, I keep expecting to fall into a dip or hit a spring like my old mattress but its just completely level and firm. So yes, service is awesome and mattress is awesome and all done without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend shopping here.

This mattress was a god send compared to the cheap coil mattress that came with the bed. We use it when one of us has to sleep in the nursery with the little one. Those long nights with not much rest. We both like a firm but comfortable coil mattress and this definitely delivers. We have both noticed a huge improvement in sleep, rest and feeling fresh whether the little one lets us have a full night sleep or not. This was a worry for me at first as my back is not in the best shape at the minute but it has been very supportive and helped a lot. It has been a long long time since I have slept on a single mattress myself and I was not feeling confident in the beginning but it really is very comfortable. Quick delivery, no marks or damage or weird smells like some foam mattresses. We cant be without it now. Its a great buy, well worth the money and a definite improvement. I can imagine this would be great for little ones moving into there first full size bed too. Buy it and see for yourself.

This is a great budget mattress. It is firm for a child, not so firm when i had to sleep in the bed with my little one but it was very comfortable even if not firm for me! Nice thick mattress and traditional which i always prefer. I brought online, was delivered on my selected date, the driver called before my scheduled slot to ask if they could come early due to a cancellation which i was pleased about as i could continue with my day. Even if he hadn't of called i liked they gave you a 2 hour timeframe. The driver took it to the room it was to be used in and asked where i would like it, super friendly as i am so happy with the purchase, i took out the added protection cover as well.

So I originally purchased another mattress from a well known manufacturer who totally let me down on delivery. I then cancelled this and purchased one from Argos at about 100 but this was very poor and quite thin so sent it back. Didnt realise dreams were open during lockdown but drove past and went in. Tested the mattress and went online, paid and got it delivered in three days free. So for less that 250 you cant go wrong with this which Im using for on a guest bed. It was reduced (although I never really believe or look at reduced prices) and it was very comfy. It is bouncy though so if your looking for a solid mattress this wont be for you. Full marks Dreams

I bought this mattress a couple of weeks ago online, in the sale, for my 4 year old son. We were upgrading his bed and mattress from a toddler sized one to a single bed. The transition was surprisingly easy and he loved his new mattress! A week into using it, he was poorly and with the mattress being strong and big enough to support us both (just about!) I was able to get a comfortable sleep on it too. The buying process was simple and quick. The delivery was on time and well packaged. There was an option for Dreams to take our old mattress away but we had another method of disposing but handy to have this option from Dreams.

I have been searching through different websites for a mattress for my 18 year old son for weeks & as he suffers with back problems i was reading the reviews throughout. Reviews i think personally help & anyone reading this, trust me when i say this mattress really helped my son at nights with his back problem very thankful to dreams & this was a very good buy, especially half price too! I bought this mattress 3 weeks ago for my son as we've upgraded his bed from a single to a double. I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before reviewing so I could leave an honest review after it had been tested properly. My sons said the mattress is comfy and he's been sleeping a lot better too. It's firm but has enough spring to make it comfortable and soft. I was even more pleased to get it during a Dreams sale so it was half price! So far we cannot fault it or Dreams. The process from ordering to receiving and setting it up has been brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this mattress again.

This mattress does exactly what it says, it's comfortable and affordable. What stood out for me more than anything was the exceptional customer services during such uncertain times from covid 19. I bought this last month for our daughter to progress from her toddler bed after out growing it. Its a great quality mattress and very comfortable, we have even seen an improvement in our daughters sleep which was usually very broken but we're finding she is sleeping through most nights at last. The mattress design is very pretty and not old fashioned or cheap looking like most of the others I looked at. The only fault I can find is that you can't flip it which is something I often like to do, I'm hoping this won't make too much difference to the comfort over time.

Recently got my own place to live and I was gifted this mattress from my parents. I can honestly say that its the best mattress Ive slept on, I find it hard to sleep and found living on my own for the first time pretty nerve racking so having somewhere comfortable to sleep takes priority. Looking for a good mattress can be a bit of a minefielddo you buy memory foam or one containing one of several hundred different spring varieties? Best thing about having a shop nearby was I walked in, was greeted by two employees who asked me who it was for and talked me through the various sensible options. The result: two Harris single mattresses for my twin boys for their first grown up beds and theyre mega happy! Im happy knowing that the mattresses are supportive where needed and my boys will grow up with comfort.

Just recently bought this to replace an old mattress. This is considerably cheaper but in some ways better than the old one. The old one came with a full bed I had bought about 11 years ago and to be honest, it only just fit the bed, it went over the edges and was too bulky, which made rotating difficult as a double. This Harris Spring Mattress is also a double and just as firm but slimmer, so much easier to rotate regularly and whats more, it fits on the old bed PERFECTLY. Wish I'd got this one with the original bed purchase.

Sleep is not only necessary it should be pleasurable but of late this had not been the case for this overweight, middle aged man with a bad back. I did not look forward to lying on a mattress that was threadbare and long past its best. I was looking for a new mattress before lockdown and for obvious reasons, my plans stalled. After looking online, I find that dreams seemed to have the best prices/selection/options for delivery and recycling of old mattress, so I went ahead and bought from them. I was really unhappy with this mattress when sleeping on it for the first two or three nights. It was such a difference from the very soft memory foam mattress wed used for eight years previously. After about three nights, all had changed. It now feels very springy/bouncy, without sinking in to it like memory foam. It seems a great happy medium, and makes for a good night sleep. If you dont have the money to pay the astronomical prices that some mattresses are, I can fully recommend this even for a master bedroom.

I bought this a month ago and I am so glad I did. I had a limited budget and was worried that I was wasting my money on a cheapo jobby but it is very comfy and deep. I work nights and need to sleep differently than most as it is in the day when there are a lot of noises and distractions. The delivery men brought it right up into the room and were very polite The only reason I am giving it a 4 star rating is that I am aware that a more expensive one may be better ! For a limited budget you will be happy with this.

For a while now I have been suffering from back pain and insomnia because of years of sleeping on an inferior mattress (One of the ones I have had since I was in university, which is a while ago now :S ) I bought this mattress last month and I have no regrets. Gives good support and has enough give to be comfortable but not so much that you sink into the mattress or wake up every time your significant other moves. Dreams service was very good, its not often anyone can praise a company for their service offering now a days. From placing the order to delivery everything was superb and totally stress free. We were needing a semi-decent spring mattress for our three year olds first bed. This is great quality, I dont think it would last a long time for an adult but for the price I am very happy with my purchase. Our three year old is very comfy and when laid next to her I could quite easily fall asleep in comfort myself.

This is the first mattress I've bought for myself. It was really reasonable priced and the delivery service was excellent. We've had it for a few weeks now and I have no complaints. We have the medium firm options, which suits us (it is quite firm though, so I wouldn't recommend this if you prefer something softer). I've heard of odour issues with other mattresses (from different providers), but we've had nothing of this sort with this product. Would definitely recommend!

Bought this for my teenage daughter as she was complaining about her old mattress and she absolutely loves it. I bought this mattress cos I needed one quickly . Mine was knackered, had been fir a while and I had a back ack. So, new mattress. I purchased this mattress as my old one had well and truly had its last use out of it. I was extremely impressed that I could move this mattress by myself as usually there has to be at least two. Dreams sales support comuncation was great through out, the matrress was given to my front door and I was asked if there was a room i would like it put in, which was kind of them to ask. Great mattress for the price paid (I got this in the sale). Replaced my 10 year old lumpy, uncomfy mattress after I started getting an achey lower back. Before we bought this Harris Mattress, my husband and i were always tired. Bringing up three girls with 10 year age gap was bad enough, but our old mattress was over ten years old and we never got a good night's sleep. I bought this mattress a month ago to be used on our spare bed( which for the last month and next month) is currently serving as our main bed until we ship our main bed over. And for the price it has been great! Its a good nights sleep for myself and my partner and cant fault the product. Delivered under a week ago. First night I slept on this my back was in pieces and I vowed to return it. I bought this only a few weeks ago ready for potential Christmas visitors, However after a recent bereavement i had unexpected family to visit. 2 year old was not getting any sleep, after 2 months of back and forth, sleeping on the floor next to him i figured a double bed would benefit us both. I noticed the Harris mattress was on sale and thought it was brilliant. I didn't have the highest expectations because it was so reasonable but for the first time in a long time I'm getting proper sleep. I prefer a harder mattress and my partner prefers a soft mattress but this is a great medium. Definitely would buy something else from Dreams. A good mattress, feels very comfortable and I just had to spend a whole week in mine while I recovered from COVID - can confirm it was a comfy week! (Haha). It is already dipping a little where I sleep, but Ill put this down to the amount of time spent in it lately, and probably spend some time sleeping on the other side. I took a chance on the cheapest mattress Dreams make, not being particularly fussy when it comes to sprung mattresses I was glad I didn't spend any more than I had to. This is a firm mattress despite what some of the other (overweight?) reviewers have said. If you like your mattresses firm as I do then this will fill all your needs. It's good quality for the price and comes with a 1 year guarantee.

Great mattress for the price, I bought in the sale but don't think it is worth the full price. Comfortable nights sleep and don't wake up with as many aches and pains. Downside is that it's not very deep resulting in the bed being very low. Also when you sit on the edge of the bed the mattress sinks considerably. Good for the sale price but would be disappointed if I'd have paid full price.

This mattress is just what we were looking for, not too hard and not too soft. This is just right for us after buying one that was very hard even though it was a medium one the same as the Harris. If you're going for this, you're all about the price but I can guarantee the quality doesn't disappoint at this price level. Thinner than usual mattresses but equally supportive and this is from someone who is used to a Tempur Luxe. Overall great purchase I won't regret one bit - not sure how it lives up over the years but for a spare room I slept on it for weeks now and I'm very happy.

Brought this to replace a really old firm mattress on my sons bed. We bought this mattress for a spare bed in a guest room. We never buy the cheapest mattresses but decided not to spend excessively on a mattress for the spare room. Having said this were really pleased with the quality given the reasonable price. The finish with regards to stitching etc is spot on but most importantly its extremely comfy! I was very unsure about this mattress when it arrived as it seemed hard and uncomfortable (Having just got rid of an incredibly soft, worn mattress) and overall feared it was going to cause more damage than good. But after a month of sleeping on the mattress It has helped my back to no end and is a pleasure to sleep on. Definitely recommend this mattress especially for the price.

I have had my new mattress a few weeks now, it is the best yet for comfort, no need to struggle to turn it over, just turn it around. The firmness is great for my back, eased my aches tremendously. Let's say you get what you pay for. Mattress has gone straight back with drivers. Customer service has so far been brilliant friendly helpful drivers and the lady I spoke to was lovely too. This mattress seems fine but it's for my guest room, so I haven't actually slept on it. It's of good quality for the price, is of a nice design and light to manoeuvre. However, it's a bit light to use with the ottoman base, as the ottoman base flies open and you have to put your back into closing it. Whereas the ottoman base is brilliant with a heavy memory foam mattress.

A very well made mattress that was delivered in strong undamaged packaging. The material covering is soft to touch with an attractive pattern. Comfortable and inviting, with adequate support, achieving a deep restful sleep throughout the night. Its only downside is that in the morning I dont want to get out of the bed. I was looking for a good quality mattress for my child who has adhd and is autistic and the previous mattresses from elsewhere didnt turn out to be good quality and didn't last long. Weve bought two of these mattresses now a small single 4months ago for our 6year olds new bed and then a standard single more recently as replacement mattress for our 10year old. Both our finding very comfortable, nice for me to sit on too. Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 as cant say what theyre like for durability but so far so good and cant envisage any problems.

It was so refreshing to deal with your company. I was text the day before and give a 2 hour window and on the morning the driver rang me with a time. The bed arrived at exactly that time and Ben happily carried it up two flights of stairs,removed all the packaging leaving it ready to be go. It's ok as a second mattress. I ordered this one and another mattress together but the other one was delayed by just over a month. So I slept on this one for a while. The bed felt broken and the springs made so much noise, it was quite irritating. I had to get a replacement of the mattress cause I thought it was broken. Overall it's a good cheap backup/spare mattress.

Not the most comfortable mattress i have ever slept on due to springs being quite prominent but very good quality for the price. We had a very low budget but adding a mattress topper to this product has made it perfect and a much more affordable option than buying a more expensive mattress. Purchased the single mattress for my daughter and it is such a good comfortable mattress. Very comfortable mattress so far. Needs rotating regularly the first 3 months. As it's a spring mattress you get the occasional bounce with the springy noise. My little one has moved on from his cot bed and used to wake through all hours of the night as Oct bed mattresses are never comfortable. He is finally getting a good night's rest and sleeping through.

Bought 2 of these for my guest beds, the price is great for what it is for! I won't want it for my everyday bed though, but for a few nights is absolutely fine. It is very springy, bouncy, you can feel the foam layer then is the spring, very straight forward nothing fancy. Good support and quite comfortable. I think they would be good for children bed too.

This Harris mattress is described as firm, but it is not. It is medium, even soft. It gives too much, and when I lean towards the light from my bedside lamp to see more clearly what i am reading, i cant stop myself slipping off the edge of the mattress, because its too soft to support me. My daughters only had this 3 weeks currently but she's gone from not sleeping through the night to having nearly a full undisturbed sleep. Personally for myself I'd want more support but I like a really firm mattress which I feel this is slightly softer then my preference but for my daughter or another child I think it's a perfect comfortable mattress

Very happy with purchase. The mattress is firm and feels like it will last. Dreams say 8 years but I always like to renew my mattress every 3 years mainly because I sweat a lot at night. We have had this mattress maybe 2 months now. It is my toddler mattress so their is not much weight on it but on the rare occasion i have had to sleep on it Ive found it really quite soft and it seems a lot firmer on the outside edges rather than in the middle. For a child I would recommend it but not for an adult if you want like a firm mattress.

I was always under the illusion that cheaper mattresses were not always the best. So I opted for one in the middle. However, this mattress is great! Its not too soft and not too firm either. We got this matress for my almost 3 year old son... it's his first 'big boy bed' and we love it. Just the right amount of support and comfort. This mattress was reduced but because it was so popular I was prewarned that it could take up to 6 weeks for it. But it only took 3 weeks. I am so happy with it. I haven't had such a good night sleep in years the 1st night I had it I think I slept for 10 hours. It is not as firm as I thoughtbit would be but it is really comfy. I would recommend it.

This mattress is not going to win any awards, or last for 10 years, but when you take into account its price, it is fairly well built and inoffensive. It is a good interim mattress you can have for two years while you save up for a good one. Afterwards, pop it in the spare/guest room and let Aunt Shelia roll around on it when she comes to visit.

This was brought 3 months after spending 900 on one of the "best" memory mattresses. This was the worst mistake i ever made. So i didn't have a lot saved up. This mattress is a god send. I bought this few weeks back for my 9 year old son. This is by far the best mattress ive purchased. That good im going to purchase a double for my bed. The service was brilliant from start to sleep. It is deep but not so deep that the sheets slip up. Sleep seemed upset at first but now settling as my back gets used to a better mattress. I only wish the sides were stronger, not that you should sit on the edge but obviously we do briefly and it is very weak and I feel will wear really quickly.

Bought specifically for a small bedroom this being slightly less in width fitted the bill spot on. Trampoline mattress, exceptionally bouncy mattress, when you get into bed you need to take great care that the mattress does not bounce your head sharply against the headboard. When either of you turn over the the other person gets bounced about. I would not have purchased this mattress if I had been able to try it before buying.

Standing this mattress against the old one was shocking; the old mattress was so bad it curved against the wall. This matress is super solid in terms of structure in comparison. I love the stitching pattern on top as well, it's a wavy pattern rather than the divots that often feel noticeable and uncomfortable. Great mattress.

How does this mattress come out size wise? I know it says a tolerance of 2 cm, but my old one said it was 90cm wide and is actually 92 cm wide. It is really difficult to tuck the sheets in as it is rammed in so tight.
