Slumberland vs Eve Mattresses

Before purchasing this Benson's mattress (bensonsforbeds.co.uk), I discovered that the firmness of a mattress should be determined by a person's weight and sleeping position. There are many guides on the internet about this, such as sleepfoundation/best-mattress/mattress-firmness I am approx. 168 lbs in weight and a side sleeper, so I was very confident a good quality mattress which was medium firmness would be the best firmness for me. I am not disappointed with the Slumberland Natural Solutions 2000 medium firmness mattress. It is very comfortable although it feels much harder than my old mattress which was 17 years old and completely worn out. I chose the Natural Solutions 2000 mattress as it has natural fillings which are more breathable than foam layer mattresses. These natural fillings allow body heat to dissipate more efficiently than foam layered mattresses. This was very important to me as I live in a very well insulated building in a 1st floor flat, which also receives a lot of direct sunlight through the windows throughout the day and I tend to be a slightly 'hot' sleeper. I have not felt too warm in bed during August 2023 with my new Naturals mattress. The Slumberland Natural Solutions 2000 is also very good value for money when compared with other similar mattresses on the internet. The outer material feels high quality and so do the pocket springs when lying on them. It has 2000 pocket springs which helps isolate any movement a sleeping partner might make which helps to aid a good night's sleep, especially if someone sleeps with a 'restless' sleeper. I wanted to use the mattress for a while before posting a review so after having slept on it for 2 months . - woke up after the first night and realised I got up without backpain. I have a crushed vertebrae and most mornings I ache so this was a good start. 60 nights later I have also discovered that if I have back pain after a day I go to bed and I wake up with less pain so the mattress is definitely aiding my aches very well. - I suffer from insomnia and yet again since having bought this mattress I have been sleeping so well that even those nights are getting less and less. When I do have sleepless nights it is so comfortable it doesn't bother me to lay awake and just listen to some relaxing music. I have medium firmness by the way. The one thing I have noticed is that the topper is not holding its shape all that well. It's only me using the mattress so that's a bit of a concern at the moment and something I will need to watch as the months go by. But after a lifetime of mattresses and back pain and sleepless nights this is the one and only mattress that so far has aided that THE BEST. Definitely worth buying if you have struggled with some of the same issues I have.

Delivery day felt like Christmas had come a week early. We spent hours in the Exeter store and the "regional floater", or, Corniche Steve I believe he said his name was. Excellent service and after hours of testing with combinations of pillows and a good 10 minutes on every other mattress, yes, EVERY, mattress in the store we were certain that this was the one. Took a few hours break and visited other local shops, none of which compared in quality of product, cleanliness of showroom or overall customer service. We returned a second time and headed straight fir this mattress and the rest is history. Took delivery today which again was a great experience. A call from the courier first thing to let us know today was still the delivery date, then another call an hour before arriving to make sure we were ready for them and then a quick and easy delivery straight to the bedroom. Benson, give Cornish Steve a bonus, he deserves it, and keep doing what you are doing. Your competitors are lacking behind and we will highly recommend you and your team to anyone looking to invest n their next bed. And now, if you don't mind, I'm off to sleep in this incredible bed for the first time.

This matress is so ridiculously comfortable. We chose firm and it's perfect, it's good for my partner's back and soft enough for me to feel completely cozy. When we roll over in the night its not felt by the other person at all. Having a Superking has given us the best nights sleep, neither of us disturb the other at all during the night. It's very deep so any bed with it would be fine - but I got a Duvan without thinking about it and I do feel like the princess and the pea, being about 4 foot high up! I got some great advice in the store, Inverness staff were very patient and knowledgeable. I think this is the best choice I could have made and I absolutely feel it has been worth the money - I got it for 999 and although it felt like a crazy amount at the time, the quality of sleep we've enjoyed has made it so so worth it. I also bought the matress protection which came with 2 matress protectors which I would recommend, it gives me piece of mind for the expensive purchase and also meant I didn't need to spend even more on a protector.

I recently purchased the Slumberland Air 6.4 Memory Mattress, and let me tell you, it's so comfortable that getting out of bed has become a real challenge-so much so that I've been late for work a few times! I know it sounds like a joke, but the struggle is real when your mattress feels this good. I suffer from spondylosis, and my old mattress used to leave me waking up stiff and sore. Since switching to the Slumberland Air 6.4, my mornings have completely changed. I now wake up feeling refreshed and pain-free, which is something I never thought I'd say. The memory foam contours perfectly to my body, offering just the right amount of support while still being incredibly soft. This is, without a doubt, the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. If you're looking for a mattress that provides amazing comfort and relief from aches and pains, this is it. Just be warned-you might find yourself hitting the snooze button a little more often!

We absolutely love this mattress as it's so comfortable. It feels really firm when you first get into bed, like it's just to hard, but as it warms with your body heat it softens where you are lying, making it really comfortable. Great for a bad back or anyone who like a firmer bed. The only downside is our fitted sheets slide and bunch up through the night and even having bought some elasticated bed clips it's still an issue. Not sure if taking the removable cover off and just using a mattress protector would better? Either way it doesn't detract much from it being the best mattress we've ever had and at the price was considerably cheaper than our last one, making it excellent value for money too. All in all I would definitely recommend it for anyone needing a firm mattress or anyone with back issues. We sleep so well that I wish we'd bought it earlier, but are very happy to have it now.

The mattress and bed is amazing, but the company sucks! Customer service was dreadful, I had to send back a gel mattress because it wouldn't go up my stairs. I was told I would have to pay over 100 re stocking fee even though I measured the stairs according to their emails and it fit! And I even bought a more expensive mattress in the end! I couldn't cancel the order and go elsewhere to the numerous other mattress firms, because Benson said they would keep 20% of the 2800 I paid! I will never recommend them to anyone.

I love this bed now that it's broken in. Initially it didn't feel right and not medium enough for me but I have been fine on it especially when on a flat surface. Not recommended for use with wide poorly made slats. It gets very hot so I had to remove the mattress protection for added comfort and air circulation. I'd probably buy a mattress from here again but my overall experience wasn't that great so it's a slim chance. *The frame in my attached photo is not recommended, this mattress didn't pair well together*

Great mattress super comfortable.. Went in just to try out a mattress I saw on line. I was never going to buy off Benson's again after poor service 5 years ago.. Gabriel who served me was very knowledgeable and really customer focused. Then I spoke to the manager about a problem with my nearly 5 year old bed and he sorted it out and arranged for the parts to get sent to me they arrived 2 days later. Fantastic customer service from the Falkirk Store.

Realise how bad old mattress was very happy with this one not much more to say certainly not fifty words worth very pleased with service from bensons from walking into !shop to delivery well that's thirty odd words only negative is being forced to draw out this review which is actually making me regret embarking on what other wise would have been a positive all round review There now I believe I have fulfilled the criteria now!
