This was an upgrade from a cheap online mattress bought over a year ago that became very lumpy very quickly. I did the sleep analysis bed in store and this was one of the mattress recommended to me by the programme. I tried out several but this really seemed to feel 'right' to me, the top cool foam is soft and cushioning whilst the underlying sprung mattress is firm, a really comfortable combination. There are no tufts (that I can feel) so nothing to dig in. The foam moulds around you, supporting every part of you so that weight is evenly distributed, but unlike previous memory foam mattresses I've had it isn't too hot or sticky! I ended up spending more than I wanted to on a mattress, but it has been worth every penny, I no longer wake up constantly in the night and am getting a much deeper and less interrupted night's sleep. Absolutely worth the expense!

I searched for weeks in different shops looking for a bed that would, suit my needs and give me a good nights sleep. O have a back problem and a lung disease which causes me to have difficult nights, I'm restless and can never get comfortable at night to sleep. I finally found the one, the one bed that had not only given me the ability to feel relaxed and comfortable but i SLEEP. This is a big deal to me ,as i can sometimes go several night without any. The bed mattress exterior in a lovely soft light padding, and although the mattress is class as soft its still firm enough, that it allows my spine the correct position. I feel the mattress almost cuddles me up as i sink in to it . I also got it at a slightly reduced price in the sale. Thank you Dreams so much.

Having had this mattress for a few weeks, I can now give an honest review. We went to Dreams and had a mattress fitting. I was somewhat sceptical about the whole process, but we were given a list of about 4 mattresses to try. All seemed comfortable enough, my wife favoured one and I preferred a different one. Obviously, we went with the one she liked! This has proven to be a great decision, our new mattress is probably the most comfortable Ive ever slept on. Delivery was perfect, all to schedule and the delivery guys were efficient and took care to avoid getting any dirt in the house. Id definitely recommend the mattress as well as the whole service we had from Dreams

We bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is! When in the shop we were taken through to use the sleep match scanning machine where, although it felt a bit strange, the sales lady was very good at explaining what would happen. She was very knowledgable and not pushy salesperson. Once we made our choice payment and delivery were dealt with professionally. Delivery times were given promptly and reminder sent a couple of days previous to delivery. Furthermore a call was given to advise approximate time of delivery on the day. The mattress is very comfortable and keeps a cool temperature due to the gel in it. It is perfect for us.

We went in the store to 'look' around. Tried the sleep thing with some gentle (not at all pushy) help from staff and then tried out three options, we felt no pressure to buy and not in the slightest silly considering we were trying different mattresses out. When we settled on this one I was fairly nervous as I have hip problems that can be exacerbated by mattresses that are too soft or firm but we've had this mattress a month now and I've been sleeping better than ever before! Perfect amount of support while still feeling cozy and cuddly. I would recommend it to anyone because the price compared to some of the others in store makes it an absolute steal!

We tested it out in store and were really impressed. The price was around 800 ish and believe me when I say it was worth every penny. The guy we dealt with in store was incredibly helpful! The first night sleeping on it was the best nights sleep wed had in months. Its a medium mattress and sort of moulds to you whilst you sleep but still supports you. My feller is recovering from a serious leg break (pins and everything - bionic man). Which really was what forced us into getting a new mattress in the first place. He reckons its nice not having Random springs poking him in the incision sites.. cant imagine why lol!

This mattress was delivered 2 weeks ago to replace a new one recently bought from elsewhere. This is a lovely mattress, soft but supportive, firm but not hard, everything we looked for. Some softer mattresses almost give way when you lie on them or sit on the side - not this one. But at the same time it is not firm or hard - we specifically avoided those mattresses. All in all it gives a great night's sleep. Perhaps because of the 'actigel' the mattress did give off a smell for over a week. It has now worn off and we were reassured by Dreams that the smell was not harmful. We're glad we stuck with it.

We attended the Hull branch of Dreams to purchase a mattress. We found the staff friendly and approachable, especially Dan who helped us use the sleep match to find the most comfortable mattress. The store was covid safe and we found the shopping experience to be relaxed and easy. The purchase of the mattress was straightforward, we ordered from Dan by telephoning the next day and the confirmation and delivery were exactly as promised. The delivery team took away our old mattress and were polite and on time. I would definitely recommend Dreams Hull Store and will not hesitate to shop there in the future.

We spent a little more than we wanted to but that's probably not unusual ..... we were treated to the sleep diagnostic experience and this was one of the possibles suggested as a result. Decided to take the plunge as sore bits'n'pieces on waking was starting to take it's toll. Thus far (two weeks in) we are pleasantly surprised at the difference its made to our sleeping .... the cool surface is lovely and achey joints don't seem so troublesome. Slightly early maybe, to claim total success but well on the way we think .... hopefully the extra will be worth it in the long run.

After years of disturbed sleep, fatigue and frequent lower back and hip pain, I have enjoyed sleeping around 6 hours continuously and woken up to comfort in my hips and back. Over the last few years, I have bought 2 other mattresses and got no relief whatsoever. At Dreams, my wife and I used the mattress tester, and as a result, bought the Therapur ActiGel mattress. We bought our new mattress in December 2019 and thought we would be having it delivered to our new house, however that did not go to plan. Our mattress arrived a couple of weeks ago and we are very pleased with it. It is very comfortable and great quality. The service from Dreams has been excellent what with all the issues we have had with trying to get our mattress delivered to the right place. Weve had our new frame and mattress for almost 2 weeks now and what a difference it has made to our quality of sleep! I used to wake up with a few odd aches and pains and I thought it was due to the way I was sleeping. What is the expected lifespan of this mattress if slept on every night by two, lighter than average, people. I note that the guarantee is only for one year in comparison with a ten year guarantee for a more traditional mattress.

Answer: We do offer a standard 1 year guarantee on this product as standard however you can purchase additional warrantee to give piece of mind. You can find more information on this online, alternatively you can give the customer service team a call and they can talk you through it. When following the care instructions we recommend that the mattress should last for 8 years or longer,

What is the difference between this and the Polar actigel 800 please?

Answer: The polar 800 is a new model for 2022 and helps promote comfort through innovative purFibre layers which ensures your mattress has excellent recovery and rebound properties and has also been further optimised with regards to its cooling tendencies. I am confused about the guarantee on the TheraPur ActiGel Polar 800 Mattress. In the Overview it says "Rest easy with a 10-year guarantee" but we were told in store that it was only 1 year and so we bought the Extended Bed Cover.

Can you please confirm what materials are used in the making of this mattress and what chemicals (VOCs) are likely to be emitted during off-gassing?

Answer: All chemicals are conforming to REACH standards. All foam used with in this mattress are tested as part of the CertiPur scheme to ensure levels are below the scheme requirements. VoCs are at a very low level.Many thanks

Why does this mattress only come with 1 year guarantee when others come with 5 or 10 years.

Answer: At Dreams we offer a standard one year guarantee on all of the products, the extended guarantees are from the supplier, unfortunately this supplier only provides a one year guarantee on this mattress.

Hi we have had our mattress about 2 weeks and was firm at first but seems to be slowly softening but have noticed where me and my partner have slept it's dipping I was just wondering if this was normal I thought it would go back to shape?
