As somebody who generally rests on their back, the first impression of the Rest Assured Adleborough 1400 Pocket Ortho Mattress felt somewhat inviting. The soft white fibre-filled damask cover was a haven of comfort and the pocket springs beneath did an excellent job in contouring to my frame. Yet, I must admit, the orthopaedic support, intended to align the spine and relieve pressure points, did not fully meet my needs as a back sleeper. Despite my average body frame, the firmness came across as a bit too strong, creating a bit of a mismatch.
The cooling technology was another noteworthy feature. Given that I often find myself warmer during the night, the air ventilation system provided an undisruptive, cooler sleep. I also cannot stress enough the convenience of maneuvering this mattress due to the handy turning handles — a small yet significant detail. Nevertheless, it appears that the Rest Assured Adleborough 1400 Pocket Ortho Mattress might be better suited for those who prefer a firmer base, perhaps stomach sleepers, and not particularly for back sleepers like myself. However, the overall quality and additional features make it a worthy contender in the mattress market.
