The company's mission is to improve sleep worldwide by focusing on product quality and innovative sleep technologies. Collaborating with an award-winning German design team and a consortium of doctors—including chiropractors and physiotherapists—Origin develops mattresses that provide optimal spinal alignment and comfort.

A standout product in their lineup is the Origin Hybrid Pro Mattress, which features a multi-layered design combining over 5,700 TitaniumCoil springs with pressure-relieving layers and bamboo-infused wool. This construction offers medium-firm support with a plush, breathable pillow top, aiming to provide orthopedic-level support while keeping sleepers cool. Origin Owner Satisfaction

The Origin Hybrid mattress has received a commendable satisfaction rating of 4.8 out of 5, reflecting its popularity among users. Many appreciate its firm support, which is particularly beneficial for back and stomach sleepers. The mattress's construction, featuring a HexaGrid orthopaedic layer combined with supportive pocket springs, offers a balance of comfort and stability. However, some users have noted that the firmness may not be ideal for side sleepers or individuals who prefer a softer sleeping surface.

In terms of temperature regulation, the Origin Hybrid mattress incorporates multiple cooling features, including a SnowTencel top cover and a HexaGrid layer infused with cooling gels, which help maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature. Despite these advantages, the mattress's cover is not removable, which can pose challenges for cleaning and maintenance. Additionally, the use of substantial plastic packaging has raised environmental concerns among some customers. Overall, the Origin Hybrid mattress delivers firm support and advanced cooling properties, making it a strong contender for those seeking a firmer sleeping experience.

Origin Supportiveness

Origin mattresses are celebrated for their exceptional support, achieved through a meticulous blend of advanced materials and innovative design. The Origin Hybrid Pro Mattress, for instance, features a proprietary HexaGrid Plus layer that adapts to your body's contours, providing targeted pressure relief and promoting proper spinal alignment. This is complemented by aerospace-grade titanium springs, which offer robust support and durability. Additionally, the mattress incorporates a bamboo-infused wool layer, enhancing breathability and ensuring a cool, comfortable sleep environment. This thoughtful combination of materials ensures a harmonious balance of support and comfort, catering to various sleeping positions and preferences.

Origin Durability

Origin mattresses feature SnowTencel™ covers, known for their softness and breathability, enhancing both comfort and durability. The high-quality materials used in their construction contribute to the mattress's longevity. User feedback indicates satisfaction with the expected lifespan, and the hybrid design of Origin mattresses, combining foam layers with pocketed springs, offers a balance of support and comfort that rivals traditional mattresses. Considering that the average mattress lasts about 7 years, we have no concerns regarding the performance and durability of the current Origin lineup.

    Igel Owner Satisfaction

Satisfaction is important to both Bensons for Beds and their iGel lineup. Being at the top of brands through the site, the manufacturer is held in high regard and is well reviewed by thousands of happy customers. Customers particularly enjoy the comfort layer which they say offers a cooling experience over equivalent memory foam alternatives. This is because gel breathes better and doesn’t cause heat buildup giving a better all-season mattress that performs well regardless of the weather.

I’ve personally trialled some of the iGel range in store and found some of the tensions to be on the firmer side, in-line with the designation the mattresses have been given. Regardless of which you choose, customers should be satisfied with the tension of the product.

    Igel Supportiveness

The support on iGel mattresses is not derived from the gel layer as this is the comfort layer at the top, instead the support is offered from the pocket springs beneath. Pocket springs are universally fantastic and are my personal favourite when it comes to support systems. The result of this layer is an extremely supportive mattress regardless of which tension you choose, offering full body contouring with an impressive lifespan and increased breathability.

    Igel Durability

Most mattresses have a traditional 1 year warranty and that is normally a fairly reasonable indicator as to how much trust the manufacturer has in their product. Naturally the better the components, the more durable they are and as such, manufacturers have more confidence in their lifespan and will guarantee them for longer. With iGel, not only are you getting high quality pocket springs combined with luxurious gel layers, but you are also getting a 10 year guarantee on all new mattresses coming out of the lineup. This goes a long way towards highlighting the durability of these mattresses and the lengths the manufacturer is going to in order to ensure long-standing satisfaction.

With a 10 year guarantee you will exceed the average lifecycle of 7 years, giving you better value and reducing the cost per night of sleep throughout its lifespan. As a result, while an iGel mattress may cost more initially, the need to replace later decreases real world costs.

I recently purchased the Gel Nanotechnology 4000i Plush Top Mattress from Bensons for Beds, and I am absolutely thrilled with my choice. From the moment I tested it in-store, I knew this mattress was something special. The plush top is luxuriously soft, while the gel nanotechnology adapts to my body's contours, providing both comfort and optimal support. The cooling technology is a major highlight - it keeps me cool and comfortable throughout the night, which is perfect for warmer evenings. Despite the softness, the mattress still offers incredible support, allowing me to wake up without any back pain. I'm sleeping more soundly than ever before! The quality and craftsmanship of this mattress are undeniable, and I can already tell it's built to last. I've been getting better, more restorative sleep since making the switch, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase from Bensons for Beds. If you're in the market for a luxurious mattress that provides both comfort and support, I highly recommend the Gel Nanotechnology 4000i Plush Top from Bensons for Beds. It's truly a game-changer for anyone seeking a perfect night's sleep!

We recently purchased the iGel NanoTech 4000i Plushtop Mattress, and after spending some nights on it, I can confidently say it has transformed my sleep quality. The Plushtop design offers a luxurious, cloud-like feel while still providing excellent support. It's soft enough to relieve pressure points but firm enough to keep my spine aligned properly. Whether sleeping on my back, side, or stomach, it adapts well without sinking too much. I tend to overheat at night, but this mattress does a great job of regulating temperature, preventing me from waking up sweaty. The cooling gel infusion helps dissipate body heat, making it perfect for warm rooms. If you share your bed, this mattress minimises movement exceptionally well. Even when my partner moves or gets in and out of bed, I barely feel any disturbance. This is a huge plus for light sleepers! The materials feel high-quality, and the overall construction appears very durable. A great mattress that we are both very pleased with!

The mattress feels quite firm when you first get on it, but it quickly moulds to the shape of your body giving you the right amount of support. The only criticism I have is not with the mattress itself but I opted to take out the insurance cover which includes a mattress protector "worth 70" which you HAVE to use one if you want to send it back within the 40 days, however, the mattress protector you get with the cover is made out of 100% polyester!!! Considering we bought the iGel due to me being peri-menopausal & wanting it to keep me cool, it did the opposite with the protector on as polyester is not breathable. I spent the first 2 nights waking up sweating cobs & wondering why until we realised it was the protector! How are you supposed to see if a product works when you have to cover it up??? Anyway, another 25 later on a 100% cotton mattress protector, the bed is lovely to sleep on!

I bought two iGel pillows ( one side sleeper and another back sleeper pillow ) in 2019 and wanted to change my pillows ( which has been overdue for very long , I change every 3-4 years ). So, I was trying to buy these again because I am so satisfied with them . When I went online , only benson for beds have these . But then I saw some bad reviews . Here is the thing , choice of pillows is very specific, I am sure those who have bad reviews definitely didn't know what they want . These igel pillows for those who prefer firm to extra firm and thick pillows . Those who do not like firm or hard pillows will hate these . Choosing pillows is very important , there is no best pillow in the world which will satisfy everyone . But these iGel pillows are for those who prefer , firm/ hard and thick pillows , not for those who want soft and thin & flat pillows .

I literally went into the store 10 times to try mattresses before narrowing it down to the 3000 or 3500 iGel. Oddly in the 3000 my preference was the soft but in the 3500 it was the firm. The side support and pillow top on the 3500 is far better than on the 3000 so for not a lot more I opted for the 3500 firm. When it arrived I nearly sent it straight back as it was rock solid but my wife encouraged me to at least try it for a few days. In fairness the delivery lorry would have been freezing and maybe this affected the gel and made it feel solid. After 5-6 hours of being on the bed and warming up the mattress was as per the one in the showroom. I've had it 3 weeks now and I love it. Yes I could have got a slightly cheaper mattress but I'm worth it and glad I went for the 3500 pillow top.
